Schedule from Bedikas Chometz thru the 1st Days of Pesach 5780

Erev Pesach and 1st Days of Pesach Schedule


After Maariv tonight, which can be davened from 7:57pm in Monsey, we do bedikas chometz. The mitzvah is to do as soon as we can and not push it for later.

Remember to do Kiddush Levanah.

Wednesday - Erev Y"T:

Bechorim can listen to a siyum via the telephone.
Latest time to EAT chometz tomorrow is 10:48am
Latest time to GET RID of chometz tomorrow is 11:53am

Chatzos tomorrow day is 12:58pm (for haircuts and unneccesary work)

Remember to make an Eruv Tavshillin Wednesday.
On Friday, when cooking for Shabbos, all food must be fully cooked by sunset (shkiah.) 7:30pm.

Licht Bentshen Wednesday - Erev Y"T - is  7:11pm

After Mincha we say סדר אמירת קרבן פסח ( in the siddur)

Chatzos tomorrow night (for afikoman) is 12:57am

Wednesday night we daven the Maariv for Shalosh Regolim and add whole hallel after maariv.

Thursday - 1st Day Y"T

Latest Shma Thursday is 9:41

Thursday we add Tefillas Tal at Mussaf, after davening Shemonei Esrei.

Candle Lighting on Thursday night (2nd night) is AFTER 8:13pm

Thursday night add Hallel as well... In addition, remember to begin counting the Omer after maariv and hallel on Thursday.

Friday  - 2nd Day Y"T

Latest Shma Friday is 9:41

Those that may wish to take in Shabbos early should not do so before 6:10pm

Licht Bentshen on Friday is 7:13pm (2nd day of Omer at Maariv)

Shabbos - Chol HaMoed

Earliest Mincha Shabbos Day is 1:30pm

Motzoei Shabbos is 8:15pm.
At Maariv say אתה חוננתנו, ותן ברכה and יעלה ויבא and Sefiras HaOmer (3rd Day)

חג הפסח כשר ושמח - may we merit this year to partake of the Korban Pesach in the Beis Hamikdash with Moshiach Tzidkeinu.
