Chassidim Don't Say Goodbye

By Yitzchok and Yehudis Abramowitz

We have spent twenty seven good years in Monsey!  Being part of the Monsey Anash Community has been an amazing experience for both of us!  As we move on to the next chapter of our lives, we wish to express our appreciation to each of you for the beautiful Tzayschem L’Shalom Farbrengens that you have organized for us and the sentiments that you shared.  We will now try to express our heartfelt feelings at this time of transition.

More than we have given of ourselves, we have received from others.  You, Anash, have provided a myriad of wonderful friendships, an awesome array of inspired teachers and the finest of chassidishe role models for us to try to emulate.  The Rabbis who have led our community have indelibly impacted our neshamos.  We cannot imagine another community that could have encouraged us to grow in our Yiddishkeit and Chassidishkeit the way that Monsey Anash has!

We wish to express our Hakaras Hatov to each and every one of you. Each of you has touched our lives in a very deep and meaningful way.

Chassidim never say good-bye, so, instead, we will leave you with an open invitation to be our guests in our new home in Yerushalayim Ir HaKodesh!  You will surely be welcomed with a smile and a cup of tea!  And from our mirpeset (terrace) overlooking the Old City, Ir HaAtika, may we greet Moshiach Tzidkenu together, MAMASH!
