As part of a הכנה for י“ט כסלו, Rabbi Soble organized an אח גדול אח קטן program.
Every Monday evening, grades 5 and 6 meet at the Tzemach Tzedek shul to learn a שיחה with תלמידים of the 8th grade. The תלמידים of the 5th and 6th grades were divided into groups and assigned a חברותא from the 8th grade. All children had a question sheet to fill out and received some nosh at the end of the program.
There were conference calls set up to accommodate the children who live out of town.
A special surprise is being planned for children who participate in this program.
It was such a נחת to watch all the children learning and a געשמאק to hear the wonderful קול תורה!
