Chabad Jewish Enrichment Center, directed by Rabbi Chaim Zvi & Chaya Ehrenreich, recently celebrated its Inaugural Gala. Over 170 people were in attendance at the beautiful event held at The View on the Hudson in Piermont, NY.
At the Gala, The Zevi Silver Caring Fund was established in memory of Chaya'la Ehrenreich's brother who was recently niftar. It will fund a new program: Linking Hearts. Linking Hearts pairs area teens with seniors - sharing love, smiles and companionship. Linking Hearts also coordinates visits to patients at area hospitals sharing hope, optimism and courage.
The crowd was wowed by guest speaker David Nesenoff, who inspired the crowd with his story of hashgacha pratis and his message of increasing one’s Jewish practice and involvement.
