Beis Menachem Purim Schedule

Taanis Esther – Wednesday, Adar 13, March 7: 
  • Mincha (Machatzis HaShekel ): 5:20 PM (includes leining) 
  • Maariv: 6:25 PM 
  • Megilla Laining: 6:45 PM sharp
  • There will be a separate Megillah reading for children also beginning at 6:45 PM followed by a pizza Purim party and the Budapest Jugglers!
Purim – Thursday, Adar 14, March 8: 
  • Shacharis: 7:30 AM
  • Megilla Reading: 8:00 AM
  • Mincha: 3:30 PM

  • Alos HaShachar – Fast Begins: 5:08 AM 
  • Shacharis 1: 6:45 AM (includes selichos)  
  • Shacharis 2: 8:00 AM (includes selichos) 
  • Mincha (Machatzis HaShekel ): 5:20 PM (includes leining) 
  • Maariv: 6:35 PM 
  • Fast Ends: 6:29 PM 
  • Megilla Laining 1: approximately 6:50 PM

As in years past, there will be a special Megillah reading for children ages nine and under followed by a short rally with entertainment, the psukim and a raffle. The Megilla reading will begin at approximately 6:45 PM downstairs and the program will end at approximately the same time as the Megillah reading upstairs. In order to ensure that everyone listening to the Megillah downstairs fulfills their obligation to hear each and every word, this program is only for children nine and under and all children ages four and under must be supervised by adult.
