Moshe Hecht Joins 8th Day Concert Lineup

World War II Liberator Speaks to RCC Students

Alan Moskin, an 85-year-old World War II veteran who helped liberate concentration camps, kept a crowd of about 40 Rockland Community College students and faculty riveted with the detailed personal story of his army experiences.

At the event, organized by the Center for Jewish Life at RCC, Mr. Moskin related how he fought the Nazis in France, through Germany and ended up in Austria where his outfit liberated the Gunskirchen Lager concentration camp, a subcamp of Mauthausen.

Tehillim Program for Boys

In honor of Shabbos Mevorchim Kislev, boys in grades 1 through 8 are invited to a special Tehillim program this Shabbos morning at 9:00 AM in Tzemach Tzedek.
