Kosher Pizza at Palisades Mall

By Sandy Eller, VIN News

Rockland County, NY - For the first time since its opening in 1998, the Palisades Mall, located off the New York State Thruway in Rockland County, will be offering something special to the Jewish community: kosher food.

“We are thrilled to be able to provide the heimishe community with kosher l’mehadrin food at the mall,” said Shragi Kahana, one of the co-owners of Fun City, in an interview with VIN News.

While the newly opened Fun City features numerous attractions for children ages two through twelve, the snack bar, under the hechsher of R’ Usher Schechter of Congregation K’hal Ohr Moshe in Queens, is open to both the general public and Fun City patrons. Featuring pizza, knishes, snacks and a full milchig menu, all products are cholov yisroel and pas yisroel.

Located minutes from Monsey and one hour away from both Brooklyn and the Catskills, the Palisades Mall is the tenth largest mall in the United States and a tourist destination for many. Fun City is located on the third floor of the mall and offers rides, lazer tag, arcade games, mini golf, gemstone panning and MagiQuest, an interactive journey through an enchanted realm.
