Leiby Kletzky Levaya Tonight

Following almost 40 hours of anxious searching and heartfelt praying, thousands are expected to attend the levaya of 8 year old Leiby Kletzky A”H tonight, Wednesday, at 8:30 PM at Beis Medrash Heichal Hatfilah, on 56th Street between 16th and 17th Avenues in Borough Park, Brooklyn.

Guest Speaker for Women's Pirkei Avos Shiur

This week's Pirkei Avos shiur for women will be given by a special guest, Rabbi Dr. Alter BenTzion Metzger, who is in Monsey for Shabbos as part of the Ivy League Torah Study Experience Shabbaton.

The shiur is on Shabbos afternoon at 5:30 PM at the home of Mrs. Yehudis Abramowitz, 6 Zabriskie Terrace.

All women and older girls are invited!

Daily Hilchos Bais Habechirah Shiurim for Women

We are pleased to announce the second year of our daily Hilchos Bais Habechirah shiur for women, that takes place every weekday, Sunday through Friday, during the three weeks.

The shiur will begin on Tuesday, July 19, 17 Tammuz from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the home of Mrs. Yehudis Abramowitz, 6 Zabriskie Terrace. The final shiur will take place on Erev Tisha B'Av, Monday, August 8.

Thanks to Rabbis Liberow, Soble, Abramov and Simpson for their participation in this exciting project. We will be learning from the Rambam Yad Hachazakah, Hilchos Bais HaBechirah.

Cheder Chabad Receives "Chase Community Giving" Contest Checks

Rabbi Yisroel Shusterman, Dean of Cheder Chabad of Monsey, receiving two checks totaling $65,000 from Mrs. Marilyn Wasserman of JPMorgan Chase Bank, as the Cheder's prize money from their participation in the two rounds of the recent "Chase Community Giving" competition.

Cheder Chabad of Monsey thanks everyone who participated in this competition and helped the Cheder win the prize!
