Speaking to Your Kids About Personal Safety

“Speaking to Your Kids about Personal Safety” is a parenting workshop conducted by Rabbi Yakov Horowitz, Director of The Center for Jewish Family Life’s Project YES and dean of Yeshiva Darchei Noam in Monsey, NY.

Part of the Project YES "Keep Our Children Safe" initiative, it was designed to raise awareness among parents in our community about the importance of speaking to our children about safety and personal space.

Borough Park Boy Missing

UPDATE - With an indescribable amount of pain, and a heavy heart, we regret to inform you of the Petira of 9-year-old Leiby Kletzky A"H.

A nine-year-old boy named Leiby Kletzky never returned home from Boyan Day Camp located at 44th Street between 12th and 13th Avenues in Borough Park, Brooklyn after camp ended yesterday, Monday.

According to published reports, Leiby was last seen wearing “a grey and light blue striped shirt, navy pants, black sneakers and a knapsack bearing the words “Nechmod Day Camp” at the time of his disappearance.”

If you see this child, please call the NYPD police desk at 718-851-5641 or Shomrim at 718-871-6666 immediately. A $100,000 award has been offered for information leading to the return of Leibby. Please daven and say Tehilim for the quick and safe return of Yehuda ben Ita Esther.
