Vote for Menachem and Liba!

Two children from our community, Liba Rimler and Menachem Amram, are finalists in Tzivos Hashem's Power of Jewish Children contest.

A significant portion of the winner's prize will go towards a Jewish non-profit of the winner's choice. Liba has chosen Cheder Chabad of Monsey and Menachem has chosen Monsey Beis Chaya Mushka High School.

Cheder Purim Fair This Sunday

The Purim Costume Fair benefiting Cheder Chabad is taking place this Sunday, March 6, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cheder Boys Building, 15 Widman Court.

All sorts of Purim related items will be sold including new and used costumes, costume accessories and Purim shtick. There will also be carnival games, face painting, food decorating and more.

All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Learning Program for Boys

Want extra learning for your son?

This Monday, Alef Ador Sheinei, March 7th, a new Mishnayos shiur will be starting for advanced 3rd through 5th graders (3rd graders now accepted) in seder Nezikin (part 2).

The shiur will be taking place in Tzemach Tzedek on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. There will be refreshments prizes tests and siyumim.

It is a great way to add to your son's geshmak in Limud HaTorah! The cost is only $8 an hour (some scholarships available) Limited spaces. To join please call Rabbi Betzalel Bassman at 845-659-9120.

Chabad Boys Day Camp to Open in Monsey

Special Children's Megillah Minyan at Tzemach Tzedek

As in years past, there will be a special Megillah reading for children ages nine and under at Tzemach Tzedek this Purim night followed by a short rally with entertainment, the psukim and a raffle.

The Megilla reading will begin at 8:45 PM downstairs and the program will end at approximately the same time as the Megillah reading upstairs.

In order to ensure that everyone listening to the Megillah downstairs fulfills their obligation to hear each and every word, this program is only for children nine and under and all children ages four and under must be supervised by adult.

Boruch Dayan HaEmes - We are deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Rivka Rochel Kroll OBM, mother of, Tibadlu Lechaim Tovim, Reb Shimon Kroll.

The levaya will take place today, Wednesday, March 2, at 2:30 PM at Mount Golda Cemetery, 500 Old Country Road in Huntington Station, NY.

Reb Shimon will be sitting Shiva beginning tonight at his home, 7 West Fessler Drive.
