Two children from our community, Liba Rimler and Menachem Amram, are finalists in Tzivos Hashem's
Power of Jewish Children contest.
Liba, 12 years of age and a finalist for the Achievement Award, created a story book about the the Alter Rebbe.
This past Chanukah, Menahem, 10 years of age, brought smiles to children at Sunshine Center. He and his friends fried 160 doughnuts, sold them, and used the money to buy gifts for special needs children. In addition, he and his siblings formed a band and played Chanukah songs at a nursing home for the elderly. Menachem is a finalist for the Chessed Award.
A significant portion of the prize will go towards a Jewish non-profit of the winner's choice. Liba has chosen Cheder Chabad of Monsey and Menachem has chosen Monsey Beis Chaya Mushka High School.
