Cheder Chabad Girls celebrated Yud Tes Kislev with lots of meaningful activities. The day began with davening, followed by a farbrengen for the preschool classes.
The preschool then joined the Book Fair where the girls read the stories that they wrote about the Alter Rebbe. The Elementary girls played a game called “Escaping from Russia.” Then Grades 1-3 had a farbrengen in the lunch room and Rabbi Shusterman spoke to them about the significance of this auspicious day, while Grades 4—8 learned a Sicha about Yud Tes Kislev with Chavrusos.
Then came the Book Fair Presentation. Each girl in Grades 4-8 displayed and read her story to the younger grades. Rabbi Shusterman then spoke to the older grades.
The morning concluded with the award ceremony where all the participants in the Book Fair received a certificate of recognition for their wonderful work. The winners were announced and received a medal and a certificate for their accomplishment. We are very proud of all the girls that worked so hard on their Yud Tes Kislev Books.
Mazel tov to all the winners and Yasher Koach to the Grand Winner, Liba Rimler! Her book will be published and be distributed to Chabad Preschools.

Yud Tes Kislev at Cheder Chabad Boys
The children of Cheder Chabad Boys were greeted today with a special surprise farbrengen in honor of Yud Tes Kislev!
Following davening, all of the children went into the lunchroom and washed for a lavish Yud Tes Kislev farbrengen/breakfast of bagles, spreads, juice, chocolate milk and desserts.
Rabbi Wolowik farbrenged with the children about the concept of דרכי החסידות and the children came up with many practical ideas of this.
They were then treated to a special Yud Tes Kislev digital presentation by Rabbi Wiener and the talmidim of the 4th grade. The boys then sang פדה בשלום and other ניגונים.
Special thanks to Motty Wiener of DailySteals.com for sponsoring the farbrengen!

Monsey Youth Hosts Beautiful Yud Tes Kislev Farbrengen for Boys

With the help of Meir Maller, Reuvy Litzman and others, the tables were set in a most beautiful way, truly befitting Rosh Hashono L’Chassidus.
The program began with a siyum on Tanya by Dovid Labkowski, (kita 8) who is almost finished 12 perokim baal peh! Menachem Amram (kita 4), who has already learned more than 2 perokim, began Tanya again.
Rabbi Berel Zaltzman, Shliach in Fair Lawn, NJ farbrenged with the boys about the being a pnimi and doing our avods Hashem with an emes. He encouraged the talmidim to act in darkei Chassidus by adding in Ahavas Yisroel to our chaverim - mit an emes.
After pointing out the greatness of this Yom Tov, there was a very uplifting atmosphere while the kinderlach were singing Niggunim, especially during the Daled Bovos. The chayos and varmkeit of Yud Tes Kislev was truly felt in a way of Ashreinu Mah Tov Chelkeinu - how lucky we are to be Chassidim!
Mendel Hirsch said over the Hayom Yom of Chai Kislev wishing all of us a Gut Yom Tov Blimud HaChassiduss UbDarkei HaChassidus Tikoseivy Vsechoseimu!
