Tuesday Night Farbrengen

There will be a farbrengen this Tuesday night, April 27, at Tzemach Tzedek following the 9:30 Maariv minyan in honor of Pesach Sheni and the Yarzeit of the Rebbe’s brother, Rabbi Yisrael Aryeh Leib.

Lefkowitz Shalom Zachor

Rabbi Issac and Roizy Lefkowitz will be making a Shalom Zachor tomorrow night for their newborn son at their home, 2 Cedar Lane in Monsey.

Cheder 4th Grade Boys Make Siyum

The 4th grade boys of חדר have just completed learning משניות מסכת ראש השנה. Rabbi Grossbaum gave a special hands-on שופר demonstration. The boys were very excited to make their own שופרות in honor of completing this מסכת. May they be זוכה to learn many more מסכתות and many more ספרים and through learning תורה may we be זוכה to learning תורה from משיח!

Mishnayis Baal Peh at Cheder Chabad

Two months before יא ניסן, the boys of חדר חב"ד of Monsey began a project to learn משניות בעל פה, as a gift to the Rebbe, in honor of the Rebbe’s birthday.

Every week throughout the two month program, prizes were given by raffle to those who were learning משניות בעל פה. At the completion of the two months the חדר had collectively learned over 2000 lines of משניות by heart!

Many boys learned entire מסכתות by heart בבת אחת! On ז אייר a special assembly was held to distribute ספרים as prizes to all of the boys who participated in the program. Some boys earned entire sets of ספרים! Thank you to dailysteals.com for sponsoring this program.
