Open Letter to Cheder Parents and Monsey Anash

Dear Members of Anash:

As we are all busy preparing for Pesach, I would be negligent if I didn't reach out to you to plead on behalf of the Rebbes and teachers of the Cheder who are owed back salaries.

While the administration and Board of the Cheder are actively fundraising for staff salaries from outside of Monsey, we ask those within our community with financial capacity to consider donating to the Cheder at this time.

In addition, those families owing schar limud are asked to immediately pay what they owe so that we can provide for our beloved Rebbes and teachers before Pesach.

So please, as part of your Pesach preparations, contact Gershon Sandler in the Cheder office at 845-356-1213 extension 204 or to make a donation or to make arrangements to pay any owed schar limud so that the Rebbes and teachers can enjoy Pesach with all that they need.

Thanks in advance and best wishes to you and your family for a kosher and freilichin Pesach.

Yisroel Schulman, Esq.
Chair, Cheder Chabad of Monsey

Bas Mitzvah Club 3rd Meeting

By A BMC Girl

Our 3rd Bas Mitzvah Club meeting was the best! This BMC we were so excited to welcome another new member Tzippora Amram. We began our small meeting around a table of a smiley faced theme discussing “The Power of Happiness, despite life’s ups and downs”. We learned this powerful message that applies to each one of us daily from Rebbetzin Rivkah. Then we were off to snowtubing! It was a blast and we definitely felt the “ups and downs”! From all the BMC members we say a huge thank you!

Can Mendel be a Rabbi?
