Friday Early Mincha
As per our custom to daven Mincha prior to lighting the Menora, Mincha at K'hal Tzemach Tzedek will take place at 3:00 PM this Friday, December 11 and next Friday, December 18.
Hillel of RCC Visits West Point
Rabbi Dov and Shevy Oliver brought more than 20 SUNY RCC students to the West Point Military Academy for a pre-Chanukah party organized by the new chaplain, Major Shmuel Felzenberg and his wife Dini.
Shabbat Dinner at RCC
The Center for Jewish Life/Hillel at SUNY Rockland Community College recently held its Third Annual Shabbat Dinner on campus. RCC faculty, students, alumni, employees and family members enjoyed a five-course dinner featuring Shabbat delicacies as well as traditional Shabbat songs and prayers led by Rabbi Dov and Shevy Oliver.
