Yarchei Kallah Learning Program This Thursday & Friday

As many people will be off from work because of Thanksgiving, K’hal Tzemach Tzedek will be hosting a Yarchei Kallah program this Thursday and Friday, November 26 and 27. The schedule is as follows:

Thursday:
7:00 AM - Shacharis 1
8:00 AM - Shacharis 2
9:00 AM - Shacharis 3
10:00 AM to 1:00 PM - Shiur on the sugya of Chanuka in Mesechta Shabbos followed by the Halachos of Chanuka by Rabbi Lesches.
2:30 PM to 4:05 PM – Shiur on a Maamar and Sicha on the topic of Chanuka by Rabbi Lesches.
4:15 PM - Mincha
5:10 PM – Maariv 1
8:30 PM – Maariv 2
8:45 PM - Farbrengen in honor of Tes and Yud Kislev with Rabbis Lesches and Markowitz.

Friday:
7:00 AM - Shacharis 1
8:00 AM - Shacharis 2
9:00 AM - Shacharis 3
10:00 AM to 12:00 PM - Shiur on the sugya of Chanuka in Mesechta Shabbos followed by the Halachos of Chanuka by Rabbi Lesches.
4:12 PM - Licht Benching

Some of the Halachic topics that will be addressed in the above shiurim include:

  • The earliest time one can light the Menora.
  • The latest time one can light the Menora.
  • The best location to light the Menora.
  • Should one light the Menora before or after davening Maariv.
  • And many more!

Wednesday Night Shiur Topic Change

Instead of Rabbi Lesches' usual Samach Vov shiur for men, this Wednesday night at 8:45 PM Rabbi Zalmen Leib Markowitz will be giving a shiur on a Maamar of the Rebbe relating to Tes Kislev.

Please have the brother of someone in our community Binyamin Zev ben Tzivia Hinda in mind for a Refuah Shlaima when davening and saying Tehillim.

Transportation to N'shei Chabad Convention Melava Malka

N'shei Chabad of Rockland will be arranging transportation to the Motzai Shabbos Melava Malka of the N'shei Chabad Convention in Stamford, CT. The Melava Malka will take place on Motzai Shabbos Parshas Vayishlach, Yud Tes Kislev, December 5, 2009.

The cost of the program is $65 to be paid directly to the convention (if enough people reserve this price may go down slightly).

Raffle for N'shei Chabad Convention
