This past Wednesday the Chabad Jewish Center of Suffern held its end of the year evening of gratitude to their volunteers of the Friendship Circle Pilot program.
This culminated a successful year of teens from the Suffern High School visiting weekly with special needs children.
The evening included an award ceremony, a light dairy buffet, and an all you can do with duct tape hands on presentation.
One of the parents expressed her appreciation for the friendship circle and stated that no amount of therapy and therapists could have accomplished what these volunteers have done for her daughter.
Both the volunteers and the special needs children are looking forward to another great year starting in September.
