Levaya & Shiva

We are deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of the father of Rabbi Shmuel Abramson.

The funeral will take place this Wednesday, October 12, at 11:00 AM at Platt Funeral Home, 2001 Berlin Road in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Reb Shmuel will be sitting Shiva in at his home in Monsey, 11 Roberts Road, beginning Thursday afternoon. The davening times are as follows:

Thursday:
Mincha: 1:45 PM
Maariv: 9:30 PM

Friday:
Shacharis: 7:30 AM
Mincha: 1:45 PM

The deadline is tonight at 2:59 AM (EST) to vote for Leah Larson, 17 year old creator and editor of the popular YALDAH magazine for girls worldwide, who was chosen as a semifinalist in the 'Someday Stories' contest by Wells Fargo Bank. Chosen, along with four others, from 10,000 applicants, Leah received $10,000 for her magazine.

But the story doesn't end there. Wells Fargo posted video entries from each of the five finalists on their website, to be voted on by the public. Chof Cheshvon Farbrengen

There will be a farbrengen with Rabbi Lesches in honor of Chof Cheshvon, on Tuesday night, November 18, following Maariv at K'hal Tzemach Tzedek.

Chof Cheshvon is the birth date of the Rebbe Rashab in 1860.
