Monsey Beis Chaya Mushka Graduation

This past Wednesday evening a special event took place in New City marking the first graduation at Monsey Beis Chaya Mushka High School. The graduation was combined with the dedication of the Mrs. Leah Miriam Hayman Library.

Mr. Yeruchem Cohen emceed the event which opened with the recitation of the Rebbe's and Rebbetzin's kapitlach followed by the reading of the Rebbe's letter to high school graduates which was read and translated by Rabbi Simcha Werner. Rabbi Boruch D. Lesches then addressed those present with regard to the graduation and the dedication f the Mrs. Leah Miriam Hayman Library. Mr. Yisroel Schulman then presented the plaque which will be placed in the library to Mr. Avraham Hayman.

Rabbi Chaim D. Kagan, the menahel, spoke a few words about the positive and unique qualities of each of the graduates and Mrs. Sara M. Touger, assistant principal, presented each girl with their high school diploma along with a sefer as a gift from the hanhala. Each girl made a short and eloquent speech after receiving her diploma.

The graduating students are Shternie Cohen (Monsey), Leah Hein (Morristown), Blumie Heisler (Seattle), Ruti Kolt (Monsey) and Mushky Shusterman (Monsey). All wished the girls continued success in their future endeavors b'gashmius and b'ruchnius.

Monsey Beis Chaya Mushka High School was established two years ago and is located in the new educational complex located at the nearby Chabad of New City. The new facility provides spacious classrooms, a computer room, a science laboratory, a full gym and now a beautiful new library.

The educational mission of Beis Chaya Mushka High School of Monsey is to teach and perpetuate the values of Chabad Chassidus to high school girls possessing good middos and a deep commitment to yiddishkeit. Its students are prepared for adulthood as knowledgeable Jewish women dedicated to the highest levels of personal observance, family life, commitment to the Jewish people, and hiskashrus to the Rebbe.

Mazel Tov Eisenbergs!

Mazel tov to Shmuel Yosef and Freydie Eisenberg on the birth of a grandson to Sruly and Tovi Goldberg. The Shalom Zachor will take place tonight at the Eisenberg home, 3 Gigi Court.

Missing Kapotas

Please check to see if you mistakenly took the wrong Kapota from the coat rack in K’hal Tzemach Tzedek on the second day of Shavuos. There are 2 people whose Kapotas are missing. One is a size 44 silk and wool blend with a pull by the shoulder. Please return it to Tzvi Yaakov Klein at 845-269-7238 or Shmuel Yosef Eisenberg or bring it to the shul.

N’Shei Chabad Bookstore Update

During the weeks that Mrs. Abramowitz is away, the bookstore will be managed by Mrs. Shayna Rochel Abramowitz. Please call her at 845-578-1771. Gymnastic and Acrobat Lessons
